Pet Airways
In the last few years we keep hearing how difficult the airline industry is having it. They keep cutting costs and many airlines now charge for food and drinks, some even charge extra for carry on bags… How I miss the good old days.
I always bring my Shi Tsu when traveling. It is in a soft bag and is wearing doggy diapers, with a hole for the tail. It is always very quite and just looks a little around and then takes a nap. Even on long trips to Europe. She even got a EU passport…
But what to do if you have a bigger dog or you need to send it to some other city for some reason? Some airlines don’t even allow more than 2 pets in the cabin at the same time. I don’t want my dog to be in the cargo hold. What happens if they forget to turn the heat on?
Good news… The first Pet Airways has arrived. Unfortunately it is only operating in the USA at the moment, but let’s hope that it spreads around the World or maybe some of the airlines (who claim to loose money) could allow pets onboard even for a fee.
You dog or cat gets looked after every 15 minutes. They get food and water and naturally toilet visits… Since the owners themselves are petlovers they know how to take good care of your loved ones and make them feel comfortable. Hey, they might even make some only friends.
